Transition centers are one-stop places to serve the many needs of older youth, homeless youth, and other at-risk youth, ages 15½ to 23. Visit the DFPS’ webpage for contact information on Transition Centers in all DFPS Regions in Texas.
Medicaid Information
If you age out of foster care at age 18, you are eligible for healthcare coverage until you turn 26 years old!
